I hail from a large family, spanning the entirety of the United States and beyond. For me, travel became second nature at a young age, as holidays and summers were always spent in transit with relatives. I barely remember a time where there wasn’t a trip abroad on the horizon. My family was bit with the travel bug long before me, and has always made it a priority. I’m lucky to have them, and to have had the bug passed on at an early age.
My true love for travel planning came at the age of 25, when I took a month long backpacking trip with my cousin through Europe. We hopped our way through 10 countries on a tight budget. While it wasn’t always smooth sailing, the misadventures along the way became the retrospective highlights that we’ll never trade for the world.
I’ve currently traveled to over 20 countries and 25 states and territories, ranging from budget backpacking, road trips, luxury resorts, and most everything in between. I love to share my own experiences, and hopefully inspire you to get more curious about the world (even if its in your own backyard). Even more so, I’m excited to be able to help you plan and personalize your own adventures!
When I’m not writing up itineraries and traveling myself, I work as a community nutritionist and health educator throughout North Carolina, providing nutrition consulting, workshops, and programs that highlight intuitive eating practices and multicultural recipes.
